Sir,
Gov
With reference to your letter No.14543/1916 of 29th March, and to the enclosed telegram from the Governor of Hong Kong, I am commanded by the Army Council to state for the information of Mr. Secretary Bonar Law that the hospital for officers of the Royal Flying Corps is now established in 37 Bryanston Square, and the cost of its upkeep is about £75 a week. The Council regret that it is considered impracticable either to hand over the whole of it to Hong Kong to support or to divide it, but Sir David Henderson would be glad that his Committee should be increased by the addition of two members nominated by Hong Kong, and I am to express the hope that this suggestion will prove acceptable to the War Charities Committee.
I am,
Sir.
Your obedient Servant
